If you are venturing into on-line Internet marketing, don’t get discouraged if :
-
Your lists of things to do get longer than your arm
-
Your time drain is unmanageable and
-
Doesn't come close to being an even trade-off for the profits dribbling in from your websites.
You can reverse this drain on your time with a simple priority list that will refocus you on what is truly important to the success of your businesses. From the start these are a few questions you need to consider:
-
What do you want the most from Internet Marketing
-
Are you expecting to just supplement your income
-
Are you anticipating a full-time income in a year or less
-
Can you work from home
-
Are you creating your own information products
-
Do you consider working with PLR products
-
Have you identified which are the biggest time eaters
That should get you started.
Your objective can be to create an entire on-line business, a restricted project or a task within your on-line business, the requirements are the same and generically I'll call it "business".
Step 1: You must begin with the end in mind and create:
-
A vision for your business. A vision is the big picture of where you want to go. A vision will motivate you, and make you have a clear direction for your business
-
A list of goals which will represent specific milestones that help you get closer to your vision. The goals should be measurable, attainable, and they should have deadlines
-
A business plan for your goals.
Put your goal list in the order of priority.
Step 2: Find out your needs to get a successful business on-line. Here are the basics:
-
Get your domain name
-
Build a squeeze page, a website sales page and a One Time Offer (OTO) page
-
Subscribe to an autoresponder service to build your lists of subscribers
-
Search for products, or create them
-
Purchase at least a DSL or high speed Internet access that’s reliable
-
Start using the marketing ideas you've learned at a basic level first
Step 3: Take one goal at a time. At this level it is a mistake to request advice; the list should be what is most important to YOU. You really need to decide yourself. Step 4: Create an immediate "to-do list" for your goal and focus your attention on the steps you need to take to get straightened out. Don’t abandon the goal without to be achived.
Step 5: Repeat step 3 and 4 for each goal you have on your list.
Print some and keep them together on a clipboard by your computer. When you finish a task, check it off so you can see your progress.
Don't get sidetracked by posting on blogs or on forums. Limit the time you spend there everyday... make it an hour a day while you are drinking your coffee and munching something with chocolate on it.
If you are starting your business on a part-time basis, you might want to schedule blogging, posting, checking out forums and researching on different days.
Do not forget to take a day off each week to recharge your batteries and clear your head. Every marketer needs a brain break to stay fresh and focused, even you.
To help you, each Digital product I’ll promote in this Site will be a piece of the puzzle for your Digital Product Adventure.
